About Me
"I have spent 24 years in the holistic industry and whilst running my clinic, I have gained valuable experience and knowledge from my clients, whilst providing personalised care. I have extensive experience in pain treatment and management. The hands-free deep tissue massage techniques encourage relaxation of the deeper muscle groups, reducing the risk of causing bruising or soreness. It brings me joy to see my clients experience the benefits of the treatments I offer, with each interaction enriches my understanding of their needs and enhances the services I am able to provide. Together, we create a path to improved well-being and health. Holistic therapies focus on treating the whole body as an interconnected entity, recognising that physical, mental, and emotional health are all linked. By utilising various holistic treatments in conjunction with one another, individuals can achieve a more balanced and comprehensive approach to wellness. Embracing this philosophy can lead to deeper healing and a greater sense of well-being. Explore the transformative power of holistic therapy for a healthier, more harmonious life.
After taking a break, I am happy to announce my return to the industry via The Cornish Therapy Centre, where I look forward to providing support once again."
TREATMENTS
Reflexology
Reflexology is a non-intrusive, safe, touch therapy and can be received by all ages, ranging from newborn babies to those receiving end-of-life care. Reflexology is also a popular therapy used during many life stages, such as puberty, trying to conceive, pregnancy and menopause and can often be found in various NHS health settings across the UK, such as cancer care units, maternity wards and pain clinics. Reflexology treatments are tailored to the individual, with the aim of restoring the body's natural balance and promoting an enhanced feeling of well-being by applying pressure on specific points on the feet. Reflexology operates on the principle that specific points (reflexes) on the feet, hands, face, and ears correspond to different organs and systems in the body. Applying pressure to these points stimulates energy flow (Qi) and encourages the body's natural ability to heal and balance itself. Believed to have many benefits, such as supporting detoxification, boosting energy, aiding digestion, and helping manage symptoms of various conditions like arthritis or cancer side effects.

Aromatherapy massage is a holistic treatment combining essential oils from plants, inhaled and applied topically, which stimulate the brain's emotional centres alongside skilled massage techniques, can help with muscle soreness, headaches, and support digestion. Its origins are rooted in ancient cultures, and today it is widely practised in the UK as a complementary therapy to support emotional well-being. The dual effect of scent and touch influences both the mind and body, helping to reduce stress, boost mood, and encourage the body’s natural healing processes.

Deep Tissue Massage
Before treatment, a full consultation will be carried out, asking various questions regarding health and lifestyle to ensure the treatment is adjusted to your needs.
Hands-free techniques are incredibly beneficial when used in conjunction with deep tissue massage, as they apply slow-moving, sustained pressure over a broad area. Instead of using hands and fingertips, knuckles, fists and forearms are used alongside the therapist's body weight. These techniques reduce bruising and soreness felt by the client whilst still providing the benefits of deep tissue massage.
Deep tissue massage alleviates chronic aches, stiffness and muscle tension in areas such as the back, neck and shoulders. Improved posture and mobility by loosening tight muscles and connective tissue, increasing range of motion and flexibility. Reduces injury risk, especially for athletes, by keeping muscles supple and flexible. Stress reduction by targeting deep muscle layers with firm pressure to break up knots, release tension, improve circulation, promote faster healing and enhance athletic performance. Aids in faster recovery by enhancing blood flow, delivering oxygen and nutrients to muscles, aiding healing and reducing inflammation. Helps to break up adhesions and scar tissue from past injuries, improving function. Promotes relaxation by lowering cortisol and increasing serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins. Creates a sense of calm, control and an overall improved mood by lowering stress hormones and boosting the feel-good ones. Relaxation and pain relief can contribute to improved sleep quality, supporting the body's natural balancing and healing abilities.
