Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive wellbeing practice from Japan, that works with the body’s natural energy. As a qualified Reiki Master Teacher and CNHC-registered practitioner, Helen offers professional Reiki sessions and authentic training in a warm, supportive environment. 

What Is Reiki? 

Reiki is a complementary therapy in which the practitioner channels universal lifeforce energy through their hands, using light touch or working on, or just above the body. 

Sessions offer time to pause, relax and reconnect. People often experience: 

• Deep relaxation and inner calm 
• Release of emotional tension 
• A greater sense of balance and harmony 
• Deeper spiritual connection 
• More restful sleep 

What Happens During a Reiki Session? 

You remain fully clothed on a comfortable massage table, with no pressure, massage 
or manipulation. 

After a brief health chat, Helen places her hands on or just above areas associated with the body’s seven main chakras. You may notice sensations such as warmth, tingling or gentle pulsing. 

Sessions finish with simple self-care guidance to support your wellbeing. 

About Helen Tanner 

Helen has practised Reiki since 2003 and completed her Reiki Master Teacher training with the Reiki Academy in 2023. She is registered with the UK Reiki Federation and accredited by the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). 

She is also a qualified Creative Psychotherapist specialising in mid-life transitions, self-compassion and forgiveness. Her compassionate approach provides a safe space to switch off from everyday demands and focus on yourself.

1-Hour Reiki Session | £46
A restorative treatment to relax, recharge and find inner calm. 

90-Minute Reiki Session | £64
A longer session for deeper relaxation and reflection. 

Distance Reiki Healing
Remote sessions are available if you cannot attend in person. Contact Helen to arrange a session. 

Reiki Training Courses 

Learn the traditional practice of Reiki through immersive two-day courses, including live attunements, a course manual, refreshments, certificate and ongoing mentoring. 

Level 1 (Shoden)
Explore Reiki’s history and principles, and learn how to practise Reiki on yourself, family, friends and pets. 

Level 2 (Okuden)
Deepen your practice and learn traditional Reiki symbols. This course builds your confidence and qualifies you to practice Reiki professionally.
